Alred Lerner Hall

Designed by Bernard Tschumi, Alfred Lerner Hall was constructed in 1999, is the student center of Columbia University, situated on the University’s historic Morningside Heights Campus. Nicholson & Galloway was hired to perform the following work:

  • 27,000 square feet of new Siplast modified bitumen roofing system
  • 8,000 square feet of new precast pavers set dead level
  • 900 linear feet of new galvanized railings
  • 920 linear feet of new Siplast paraguard copings
  • 550 linear feet of new Siplast gravel stop
  • 11 new smoke hatches
  • 28 new skylights
  • 675 linear feet of bird proofing
  • 2 new ladders
  • 120 linear feet of new precast stone bullnose
