| Location: New York City
Types of work: Concrete repairs, concrete coating, waterproofing, facade cleaning
Details:
For this Frank Lloyd Wright Landmark, we cleaned the fifty thousand square foot concrete exterior with Sponge Jet micro-abrasive system; performed over one-thousand concrete patches using Mapei System; and installed 50 Cintec anchors to re-attach rotunda walls.
During the concrete restoration process we shored and cut entirely through full height rotunda walls in seven locations in order to restore buried structural steel. Concrete patches were sculpted to retain original formwork lines and other irregularities. The entire façade was coated with two layer Mapei Coating System.
